Enough with the full moon already

So I was reminded that last night was actually the full moon.  And it was certainly our most challenging performance to date.  A lot of it was spin dealing with technical challenges before we opened; and also after our high of performing to a full house on Tuesday, last night our audience number was inexplicably halved, which reduced the energy in the house.

Nonetheless, I realized as we finished our "breaking" sequence that it didn't matter. By that time, we are solidly in the show and have grabbed the audience along with us.  I think that's the great thing about this show - even if we start a little "off", I feel like the show puts us (the performers) back in the right space for us.  That, for me, is part of the ritual of the show.
